- Abstract
- The objective of this study is to demonstrate if there is a relation between the HVLA technique at an L3 level with the pain in the knee that could refer the patient, against a placebo technique. In order to present it as a coadjuvant tool in the different treatments with the purpose of reducing the pain in the knee to the patients. A wide bibliographical research was done in different databases, looking for studies that had reciprocity with what was going to be analysed. Studies were found, but none of them are done with HVLA at an L3 level. An experimental study was carried out, concretely, a controlled random clinical test to reveal if there is a statisticalsignificance. 18 patients were used as a sample. The results indicated that the EVA arithmetic average of the patients in the group of study improve, going from a starting point of a value of 4.67 to a final value of 3.33. The result of the Wilcoxon test shows a p-value= 0.016. Therefore, we found significant differences. Interpreting that there is a tendency towards the study’s central hypothesis that could be valid, but for the lack of individuals it finally cannot be valid

- La finalitat d’aquest estudi és evidenciar si hi ha una relació entre una tècnica d’ajust d’alta velocitat i baixa amplitud articular (HVLA) a nivell de L3 amb la gonàlgia que podia referir el subjecte, vers una tècnica placebo, per poder-la presentar com una eina coadjuvant entre els diferents tractaments amb la finalitat reduir la gonàlgia dels pacients. Es va realitzar una àmplia recerca bibliogràfica en diferents bases de dades buscant estudis que tinguessin correlació amb el que s’anava a realitzar. És van trobar estudis, però cap d’ells que ho fes a través d’una HLVA a nivell de L3. Es va dur a terme un estudi de tipus experimental, concretament un assaig clínic controlat i aleatoritzat per rebel·lar si existeix una significació estadística. S’utilitzà una mostra de 18 subjectes. Els resultats indicaven que de mitjana aritmètica de EVA dels subjectes del grup estudi milloren, passant de l’inici d’un valor de 4.67 a un valor final de 3.33. El resultat del Test de Wilcoxon dóna una p-valor = 0.016, per tant vam trobar diferències significatives. Interpretant que hi ha una tendència a que la hipòtesis central de l’estudi podria ser validada, però per falta d’individus no ho pot ser finalment.
