Ziel dieser Studie ist
es zu analysieren, ob eine subjektive Besserung der Symptome und des
Wohlbefindens bei Patienten mit CPPS im Zusammenhang mit osteopathischen
Behandlungen nachweisbar ist und ob sich die Behandlungsgruppe, von der nicht
osteopathisch behandelten Gruppe in den erhobenen Parametern unterscheidet.

Studiendesign:

Diese Masterarbeit
ist als randomisiert klinische Studie konzipiert. Das Studien Design ist ein Zwei-Gruppen-Plan
mit einer Messwiederholung (klassisches Vorher-Nachher-Design).

Methoden:

30 Probanden (17
bis 80 Jahre) mit einer CPPS Diagnose (diagnostiziert von einem/einer Urologen/Urologin)
wurden randomisiert und entweder der Behandlungs- oder Kontrollgruppe
zugeordnet (blockrandomisiert). Um die Ergebnisse vergleichbar zu machen,
wurden bei den Probanden der beiden Gruppen 4 Parameter mittels Fragebögen
evaluiert: IPSS (Harnlassen), IIEF (Erektionsstörung), NIH Schmerz und NIH Lebensqualität.
Die statistische Analyse erfolgte mit Hilfe eines General Linear Model (GLM).

Ergebnisse:

Eine signifikante
Verbesserung im Vergleich zum Beginn der Behandlung zeigt sich bei den
Probanden der Behandlungsgruppe bei allen vier Parametern. IPSS (p = 0,004),
IIEF (p = 0,003), NIH Schmerz (p < 0,001) und NIH Lebensqualität (p <
0,001).

Bei der Skala der
Lebensqualität des NIH zeigt sich auch ein signifikanter Unterschied zwischen
den beiden Gruppen (p = 0,045) beim Follow-up (Zeitpunkt 2), während sich
hinsichtlich der anderen Parameter die beiden Gruppen nicht signifikant unterscheiden.

Konklusion:

Durch drei osteopatische
Behandlungen über einen Zeitraum von 6 bis 8 Wochen konnte in dieser Studie die
Beschwerde-Symptomatik bei CPPS Patienten positiv beeinflusst werden.

Abstract
en Aims:

The aim of this master thesis is to analyze whether a
subjective improvement of symptoms and wellbeing of patients with CPPS can be
observed with osteopathic treatment and whether there is a difference in the
measured parameters between the treatment group and the control group who did
not receive an osteopathic treatment.

Study design:

This master thesis is designed as randomized clinical
trial. The study design comprises a two-group setting with one repeated
measurement (conventional pre-post design).

Methods:

30 participants (17 to 80 years of age) with diagnosed
CPPS (diagnosed by an urologist) were randomly divided in blocks of 10 and
attributed to one of the two groups (block randomization). Regarding the other
participants 4 parameters were evaluated by means of questionnaires: IPSS
(micturition), IIEF (erectile dysfunction), NIH pain and NIH quality of life.
The statistical analysis was carried out with a general linear model (GLM).

Results:

A significant improvement between the two measurements
(pre and post) could be observed in the participants of the treatment group
regarding all four parameters. IPSS (p = 0.004), IIEF (p = 0.003), NIH pain (p
< 0.001) and NIH quality of life (p < 0.001).

The NIH quality of life scale also showed a
significant difference between the two groups (p = 0.045) in the follow-up
(measurement 2), but the two groups did not significant differ regarding the
other three parameters.

Conclusion:

With three osteopathic treatments within a period of 6
to 8 weeks the symptoms and complaints of CPPS patients could be influenced in
a positive way.
